Samuël Poher

Trail Runner | Quebec, Canada

Xact Nutrition was the first company to believe in me in 2015 when I started trail running competitively. We both grew along the way, testing A LOT of products and refining our crafts. Through all the ups and downs of my career, they always stood behind my back and helped me, either to get to my races, or to feed our running group, here on the North Coast. Their products, especially the bars (energy and recovery) have been pivotal in keeping me fueled during all my activities and training even in the harsh conditions of winter. Now, with the gels, I can really dial in that high carb intake when the intensity climbs up. Cheers to many more years pushing our boundaries together!

Meet Samuël

Fast. From 5K races to 50K trail ultras and road marathons, Samuël is always chasing speed. A longtime XACT athlete, he made a name for himself by winning some of Québec’s biggest races, competing at the 2023 Golden Trail Series World Final, and earning a spot on the Canadian National Mountain Running Team. Passionate about the mountains, he explores them as much as possible on skis as well, embracing a multidisciplinary approach to endurance sports. Now based in the Haute-Côte-Nord region, he is actively involved in several local initiatives to help grow trail running and outdoor sports in his adopted community.
